Description

NAMMAQA is looking for an experienced Talend Developer to design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT processes for seamless data integration. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Talend Data Integration, Talend Big Data, and Talend Cloud, with a strong understanding of data warehousing, transformation, and analytics. This role involves working closely with business and technical teams to deliver efficient and scalable data solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT workflows using Talend Data Integration.
  • Work with large datasets to perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) into data warehouses and data lakes.
  • Integrate Talend with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
  • Develop and optimize job scheduling, data pipelines, and performance tuning.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to ensure high-quality data integration.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Talend job failures, performance bottlenecks, and data inconsistencies.
  • Ensure data security, governance, and compliance in ETL processes.
  • Document technical solutions, best practices, and provide knowledge transfer.
Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in Talend ETL development.
  • Expertise in Talend Data Integration, Talend Big Data, or Talend Cloud.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and data modeling.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS/Azure/GCP cloud-based data integration.
  • Familiarity with Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, or Snowflake is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and performance tuning.
  • Experience in REST/SOAP API integrations and JSON/XML data processing.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Talend certification.
  • Knowledge of Python, Java, or Scala for data processing.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps tools.
